Testing
We have tested this item and found that the unit power up and has suction, but the cable rewind is very weak and has to be manually fed in, whilst holding the button down. Please note we cannot accept returns on any further faults found.

Condition
This item has been assessed and is in good cosmetic condition. It is showing minor signs of use and has some cosmetic marks and scratches. The flexible cable of the power lead also fails to retract back inside the unit on its own.

The Dyson DC26 City Multi Floor cylinder vacuum cleaner (previously known as DC26 Wood and Wool) is Dyson’s smallest, lightest, cylinder with the performance of a full-size machine.  It has patented Root Cyclone technology for no loss of suction.  Like all Dyson cleaners there are no bags or replacement filters to buy, so there are no extra costs.  This Dyson City machine is so compact that it fits onto an A4 sheet of paper. But instead of making a smaller version of existing technology,  Dyson engineers recalculated every dimension and angle to make the smaller cyclones in DC26 City Multi Floor as efficient as the cyclones in a full-size Dyson machine.  The dual channel floor tool separates carpet fibres at two points, to clean with fewer strokes. DC26 City Multi Floor also has a lightweight wand with eight adjustable length settings to reach the floor easily from standing height.  It can be disconnected in three places so tools can be attached at different levels to clean in high places and tight gaps.  It is made from tough ABS plastic, to withstand bumps and bashes.

As we are an internet based delivery company we charge £5.00 per pick up to cover overhead costs relating to offering a collection service. A courier surcharge of £5/box will apply for Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Scotland and Scottish Highlands & Islands. Royal Mail charges are for across the UK.

Pick Up/Collections: Items can be picked up from our warehouse co-located in SpaceMaker, Ipswich Road, Colchester, CO4 9HB. We are open for collections Tuesday to Friday; 9.30am to 4.30pm. As we are an internet based delivery company we charge £5.00 per pick up to cover overhead costs relating to offering a collection service. Items that are picked up cannot be returned – please inspect them, to ensure they meet their description, before taking away. We are only able to accept payment in cash for collections. Collection is required within 4 working days of purchase otherwise storage fees may apply at £10/day.

Collections need to be made in person, we do not accept collections from couriers or third parties. Please be aware, no protective packaging is provided for collections, if you require packaging please provide your own

Returns

Returns Policy

Our items: We warrant to you that the goods will materially conform with the descriptions given in the entire listing and that we agree and are able to sell the goods to you. Goods purchased via auction may only be returned for ‘mis-description’ if you notify us by email within 7 days of receiving the goods setting out why the goods are mis-described. Returns must be pre-agreed in writing. Unless listed as such, our items do not have a manufacturer warranty or warranty offered by XS Items.

Fixed price/buy it now returns: Goods purchased via fixed price listings may be returned if you notify us by email within 7 days of receiving the goods and return them within 7 days together with any packaging provided. We require that you inform us of the return in email/writing. Returns must be pre-agreed.

Unwanted items: If the item is as described, the purchaser may be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us for a unit cost refund. If an item is delivered in its original packaging, it will need to be returned in the same packaging and condition – please do not dispose of it as we cannot accept returns that are not returned in this way.

Collected items: Items that are collected cannot be returned once removed from the premises – please inspect them thoroughly before taking away. Please ask if you wish to inspect the items before taking them away. We do have facilities to power items up if required.

If you have purchased a new item and it develops a fault more than 28 days after purchase, please contact the manufacturer for repair/replacement via their warranty. Unless otherwise stated, items are in full working order
